Maintenance Blues

I'm trying to get into the 2006 VFR season but F-PZAM is out of action. It needed a 50 hour check/service by end of March 2006, which I initiated by giving the keys to a mechanic in January! To my knowledge he still hasn't done the work, which makes me really, really mad - but he promised to do it by tomorrow - he'd better.

Tomorrow is my 2 -year JAR training flight which I'll do in a Grob 115 (yuk) at a local grass airfield in Switzerland. Will do some 'under the hood' training since I'm thinking of going for the FAA IFR at some point.

Never did do the written exam for the seaplane rating. Maybe I'll find time this year.
